Just 1 in 4 men (26%) now sleep in the nude. This trend could in fact be being driven by the women in men’s lives. 41% of women would prefer their man to go to bed clothed. Male celebrities including Jamie Dornan, Ryan Reynolds and David Beckham are also getting in on the trend.

Rising in popularity, Jacamo has seen a 34% increase in sales of men’s loungewear in the last month, compared to this time last year. The survey found 30-40 year olds were most likely to own a pair of manjamas.

Sam Moran, ecommerce manager at Jacamo, commented: “It’s great to see that so many men are embracing the manjama, which is set to be a popular gifting item this Christmas. Women have been wearing stylish pyjamas for some time, and so there’s no reason why men can’t too. There are many versatile options out there, which provide men with comfort without having to compromise on style.”
