Pommama launches London’s first home personalised pregnancy yoga service

Private tailored sessions take the pain away from finding the right pregnancy yoga practice

Pommama is a network of pregnancy yoga teachers in Central London bringing specialist antenatal yoga, at home, in the office, at any time of day.  Pommama’s aim is to help make the journey through pregnancy life-enhancing and enjoyable.

Pommama provides private one-on-one pregnancy yoga classes in Central London at a convenient time convenient. Their teachers are there to help achieve harmony of mind, body and spirit during one of the most important journeys in life – pregnancy through to birth.

Statistics show that pregnancy is the time when many women decide to do yoga for the first time. Yet, finding the teacher, and the yoga style that’s right for them, and also fits into busy schedules, is not an easy task in London.

Pommama’s teachers (all fully certified in pregnancy yoga) make sure that there’s no trial and error involved in finding a suitable class and the highest quality teaching and a consistent approach is delivered, based on the prenatal programme designed by international yoga expert Mercedes Ngoh Sieff.

Pommama’s programme comprises three separate sequences tailored to different stages of pregnancy: 14-22, 22-32 and 32+ weeks.

Pommama was set up in 2017 by Maria Kondrashova, who had spent ten years running a business, which took her all over the world. Maria practiced yoga as an antidote to her busy transatlantic career, but became seriously hooked on its mind and body benefits when she was expecting. Pommama was born with an aim to share her experience of making the journey through pregnancy a life enhancing, enjoyable and empowering one.
