A pop-up shop selling the best of the Natural History Museum’s ever popular dinosaur merchandise opens in Leeds for the festive season from Friday 7 October until 5 January 2017.
The Natural History Museum Gift Shop offers a wide range of toys, games and gifts to inspire your budding palaeontologist, including pocket microscopes that that were created with insight from Museum scientists.
The ever-popular range of dinosaur-inspired gifts includes the Museum’s own selection of soft toys and models. There are gifts for grown-ups too, such as dinosaur Christmas jumpers and a range inspired by Shackleton’s Antarctic expeditions.
While browsing you can get up close to a cast of a Diplodocus head, copied from the much-loved Dippy that will be leaving Hintze Hall in early January to prepare for a UK tour.
Claire Bevan, the Natural History Museum’s Retail Operations Manager, said, “We are very excited about bringing a piece of the Museum to Leeds, so close to where many dinosaur footprints have been found. Our most popular gifts will amaze and inspire budding scientists and palaeontologists.”
