Get outdoors with Play Plum Play

Parents know that kids need stimulation and time away from screens. Getting outside is enjoyable whatever the weather, from sunshine to muddy days, each day is different and enjoyable. Embracing the outdoors helps children burn off energy, whilst helping them learn about nature and our environment. Nature is all around us and in our gardens, from mini-beasts, bugs, spiders, ants, or bees buzzing around flowers there is so much to learn and see.

Plum Play was founded by Jonathan and Diane Schaffer in 1988, they spent their time running their successful family business and enjoying family life with their three young children. Keeping children entertained is always a full-time ask, but they knew by keeping their children active allowed their imaginations to run wild. Plum Play has continued that ethos and nearly 25 years later, their range of active toys is sold in over 40 countries.

Their son Paul Schaffer is now Plum Play’s Managing Director. Paul enjoyed playing with all the amazing toys his parents created, he has learned the business from the factory floor all the way up. The Lincoln-based company continues to have family at its heart and the benefits are clear to see. The family-run business has gone from strength to strength over the years. Paul continues to successfully lead the brand’s constant drive and commitment to create new fans across the world. Plum offers a wide range of toys for all ages, making playtimes engaging, active, and most of all fun, whatever the weather. With plenty of choices, Plum sells trampolines, sandpits, climbing frames, swings, treehouses, scooters, and more. They have it all.
