London Riots

What a year it was last year at baby e, certainly eventful! Unfortunately we were caught up in the riots in Ealing, West London on Monday 8th August 2011.

Our lovely shop was looted, vandalised and all our shop floor stock stolen or damaged - the whole event now seems like a bad dream with mixed emotions of upset, anger and disappointment that this could happen. There have been some convictions and as supporters of Restorative Justice, we plan to work closely with the Youth Offending Teams across the boroughs in a positive way.

We would just like to say a BIG thankyou to all those kind people who supported us and contacted us with their messages of support, it was really much appreciated. Thank you as well to Ealing Council, Ealing BID, Ealing Police, Riot Rebuild, Retail Trust, all the local businesses, residents, friends and family who offered their services and helped with the clear up.

Metro Newspaper

Thank you to Metro newspaper and University of West London for involving us in their project to brief their students on an ad campaign which Metro kindly donated the advertising space. We hope to do more projects together in the future.
