How babye was born
We launched babye in 2004 in Ealing, West London, not far from Ealing Studios after finding a niche in stylish maternity and baby products. The online shop was launched in August 2006 and is going from strength to strength. Our customers love what we do and nothing makes us prouder than seeing the same customers come back time and time again (including celebrity mums who like our discreet approach). We took the plunge and expanded in 2009 by opening a second shop in Chiswick in the lovely Devonshire Road.
We look for the very best luxury baby products from all over the world including designer brands but also including products produced by mums just like me who have launched their own businesses as a way of managing the constant juggle of having a family. The products these creative mums come up with are truly inspirational.
We are passionate about what we sell and our brands and suppliers subscribe to ethical manufacturing policies which include:
We are also sourcing suppliers who subscribe to organic raw materials and will actively look to link up with brands that offer organic products. We also do our best to recycle our packaging - often used to pack our online orders.
babye really is a family run business, so special thanks to Nick, Pat & Bill and of course, to Rad & Lula for making me a very proud mummy indeed.
